    Said I might as well post it if no one else had; seeing as my ancestor Patrick Brett once owned Brosna Distillery.

    Its a pity in a way (for John Teeling) but its what the brands need if they are to regain their once eminent position worldwide. Great news for Kilbeggan; the museum will see a lot more visitors; particularly stateside. Hopefully both they and Tullamore will coordinate strongly to make the area a must-see for whiskey aficionados; counterbalancing Cork & Dublin.

    Sunday Business Post yesterday was saying that Cooley would have sold all its reserves by 2014 based on current sales, this kinda forced Cooley's decision in that they were reluctant sellers.
