Probably better to read your policy document or better still ask your insurance broker.

It will be stated on the policy document.

If the named driver is over 25 & holds a full driving licence it is more than likely that cover will be the same as for yourself.

The one area where your policy cover drops is where you have 'driving of other vehicles' cover on your policy. This is for the very obvious reason that youy might have comprehensive cover on a car worth 3000. Can hardly expect the insurance company to pay out 30,000 if you happened to be driving your rich friends car!
Also 'driving of other vehicles' would only apply to the policy holder and NOT to named drivers

He will be covered on a comp basis also however some insurers drop the cover level back to TPFT for drivers under 25

It differs policy to policy, insurer to insurer. Check with your insurance company.

Same applies to driving of other cars; some are 3ed party, others are fully comp, othersbecome fully comp after a number of years with the insurance company as a loyalty "gift".
