    Almost time for this.

Pressures gonna be on City, after a loss Monday United and Chelsea catching up, as well as Arsenal. 2 points difference between us and them after todays result.
Waiting for this all day, should be a cracking game.

    Possible teams;
Manchester City: Hart, Richards, Kompany, Zabaleta, Lescott, Milner, Barry, Silva, Y Toure, Aguero, Dzeko.
Arsenal: Szczesny, Mertesacker,Vermaelen, Koscielny, Djourou, Arteta, Walcott, Ramsey, Song, Van Persie, Gervinho.

Gonna go for a Arsenal win. 2-1.

Think City will put a few on us today unfortunately.

3-1 Balotelli and Aguero [2] with an RVP consolation.

    Mertesacker isn't much better.

Yes but everyone knew he would be playing, we've just given Arsenal an early Christmas present.

Bad news everywhere else in that line-up though; very impressive looking team. No defensive shackles from Mancini this time. I'm surprised Milner isn't starting though.

I really wish Sagna was fit.

Also, no Ox on the bench apparently. **** sake!

No chance of him playing to be fair. I want to see him playing as much as the next man, but only injuries could have put him in today's squad!

I'd rather him off the bench than Arshavin...

Oxo should be on the bench instead of that waster Arshavin, these are the type of games that a young talent can show what hes made of.

Surprised Milner isn'tstarting. Figured he'd be a sure thing to start on the right in helping Zab to shut down Theo. Hate seeing ex-players line up against us as they usually have something to prove, was hoping Nasri would be on the bench.

Can see City conceding us as much possession as we want and trying to catch us on the break.

I agree, but at the same time Arshavin will probably come on from the bench whereas Chamberlain would just be overlooked again!

Spot on, hope its not another repeat of Munich from Kolo. Komp and lescott our best pairing, i think they work well together despite the stick lescott gets(despite having a better season than komps so far).

Im worried our midfield might be exposed, if we dont score early we could be in trouble, esp against arsenals pace on the counter, barry and yaya in midfield might not cope with Arsenal 3. I would of played de jong instead of aguero/balotelli and gone 4-3-3

    5/2 on a red card a/t.

    I'll have that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,224 ✭✭✭✭Marty McFly

I really dont understand Wenger reluctance to give Chamberlain game time, I know hes said he want to ease him fair enough but at least have him on the bench hes been impressive in every game hes played, he surely deserves a spot over Arshavin who everytime he plays just frustrates the hell out of me.

Come on Arsenal, ill go with with 3-2 to Arsenal.

Gervinho completely fell asleep there and just let Zab away from him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,046 ✭✭✭✭L'prof

All over the place, should be losing!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,154 ✭✭✭ImpossibleDuck

I can see Song getting sent off early in this game. A lot of the City players are just too quick for him.

Don't like the look of this and the spuds just scored :(

A lot of half-hearted tackles from Arsenal players early in the game.
