hi Will there be anything ( Shops, restaurants, visitor attractions) open in Belfast on New years day. Thinking of driving up there for the day. Thanks

At the least most of the bigger shops will be open on standard Sunday hours which are 1pm to 6pm. A lot of the museums will be open as well but not sure if they're the kind of attractions you're referring to!
