Was gonna grab a pair of these from Studio Solutions while the extra capsule offer is running. They look like a pretty good deal - any reason I shouldn't pull the trigger?

You have a 6-month-old baby and you should be spending the money on formula and nappies, that would be one reason not the pull the trigger.

The money isn't yours, in fact it's your brother's holy communion money, that would be another reason not to pull the trigger.

I don't think you can go too far wrong with them, they have a good rep, seem pretty flexible, don't cost the world, and open up the world of stereo miking (presuming that you don't already have a stereo pair of something else).
