Losing my signal with quad LNB

Ok, Bit of long winded explanation but wanted to give an accurate description of the set-up.

I have 2 sat dishes and a terrestrial Ariel and two PC's both with terrestrial and sat cards.

Astra Dish has A Quad Lnb http://www.tvtrade.ie/quad-lnb.html

    Hotbird dish has dual LNB

Both hook into a Diseqc switch with one cable each which runs to a DVB S2 card in my main HTPC.

The Aerial hooks into a two way amplifier http://www.tvtrade.ie/proception-2-way-12v-power-unit.html

One of these runs to a DVB-T card in my main HTPC

The other runs to a splitter http://www.tvtrade.ie/alltrade-tv-aerial-and-satellite-combiner.html

The Astra Quad Lnb has a second cable that connects to the other side of the splitter.

This then runs down to a Wall combiner. http://www.tvtrade.ie/amplifiers-and-diplexers/wall-plates.html

From that a cable runs to a DVB-t card and another runs to a DVB-S card (For streaming Tv to wireless devices like Iphones, My kindle fire etc)

Satellite and terrestrial work fine on My HTPC and Terrestrial works fine on my Server.

problem is when I plug in the Sat feed to the server, I completely loose my sat feed to the HTPC. Whats more odd is I loose Both Astra and Hotbird. Unplugging the sat feed to the server restores the connection.

The only place these are directly connected is at the quad LNB.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

TLDR? why would connecting a second line to a Quad LNB kill the first connection?

Have you tried moving around the cables to different ports on the Quad LNBF?

Otherwise, simplify your setup, and bring cables directly from port1 and port2 of the quad to your tuners (no Diseqc switch or combiners inline) and check if everything is still OK.

Then add the Diseqc and check.

Then add the combiner and check.
