Anyone with a rooted htc android try to update with the new update that came in today? I have my phone rooted and when i try to run the update it wont run.

Firstly it gave a signature error but when disabled that it would then run the package and crash out with a load of text and error 7.

Anyone know a way around this? I would have thought you could still install updates on a rooted phone but maybe not!

Why would you want to update OTA with HTC's firmware? You're better off going on XDA and getting the updates months earlier seeing as you're already rooted anyway.

Nope. Rooted phones won't update. None of mine would anyways. Unroot and it should be grand
