In fairness, its not a bad advert. Nice pictures, plenty of info, not the worst car in the world.

.... they are either lieing or misinformed regarding the engine though...

Oh I know they all come with spare headgasket kits instead of spare wheels, my mate used to have one, I liked the interior. :)

Not with the exterior colour though.

I'd also go with lieing/desperation to get shot.

Have to disagree there man, that centre console could not look more cheap and nasty, and those dials and steering wheel aren't helping. The leather interior does look good though.

The make /model states "Rover Streetwise" and searching for a rover or streetwise both fine it.

In fairness, you all have looked at the advert and are now discussing it. How many other adverts on that site are getting the same interest?

will any of us even think of buying though?

I must be losing it, because I think, for an '03, that doesn't actually look that bad.

Why would the interior shots be taken three years before the exterior ??

Manky Bag Box of a motor nonetheless.

I'd say they are just deluded about their little hatchback with rugged, wannabe-offroader looks being a close relative to the Range Rover
    :pac:

So were the people in Longbridge, so you can't hold that against the vendor.

Those things are rare on the road and there's a reason for that. Who would buy one of those new in the first place? Hehe

On the other hand it is somewhat interesting in a weird way. The lengths Rover went through to tart up a 25 to make it appeal more. What market segment would that car have been aimed at one wonders ? Who wants a 4x4 looking 25 on stilts?

The same person who considers buying a 4wd Fiat Panda? :D

.... the 4WD panda are incredibly capable, ford had a fiesta based yoke that was on stilts too iirc.

the same people who wanted a polo dune, the Citroen c3 faux off roader and a few others to name but a few.

And the only range rover link is the retarded one the seller makes in the ad

It's listed as sold now so the ad obviously worked...
