Some beautiful machinery with even better sounds (e.g. @1:10)

Seemingly the choice of cars is based on budget rather than just bhp, etc.

That M5, series car. I'd love an alpine white one though.
Didn't realise till a few minutes ago the new M5 was available here until i looked a HWIST. I'd say a simple remap will put that M5 over 600bhp. But I wonder will it be a contender for the RS6? I know an M5 will piss on it around the track but whatabout a straight line, both will go over 200mph once de-limited.
Mmm think i'll get that M5 soon.

In my dreams tonight : (

Yeah - prices from €132,250 before you start looking at extras.

That really wasn't the result I was expecting. I knew the E63 would be there or thereabouts but I didn't realize the Panamera would be so far behind.

I wonder would those times influence a potential buyer if they had the choice of either four..

    Panamera S = 400hp.

Looks like the BMW jumped the start abit over the others... ;)

Would have liked to have seen this in the race too:

    Cadillac-CTSV.jpg

    567 hp and 0-60 in 3. seconds.

Plus you can buy the thing here for just over €45,000 !!

Americans have much more fun than us poor overtaxed bastards...

No audi in the race. Wouldn't have expect much from an S6 anyways.

Why did they not use an Panamera Turbo? The S isn't in the same league as the rest of these.

The Panamera should be put down. It's second only to the Cayenne as the ugliest Porsche ever.

Aww while I wouldn't say it's gorgeous I certainly never thought of it as ugly.

Would an RS6 not have fallen into a similar budget window?

    No current version though

The BMW might be the obvious choice and best in class but its drab looking and would have the Jag over them all. Its the best looking car in that class

Jaguar is frumpy lookin, and it sucks to boot.

The BMW trounced them, but looking at the stats on paper it looks like there's nothing between them, yet on the road there is quite a gap.

...and what did the same journos say about the others?
