Gamestop Ps Vita Pre-Order

    Anyone try and pre order a vita from gamestop, they said I wouldnt be entitled to the gift box (headphones etc) unless I forked out a €30 deposit??

    The Sony email stated that a non-refundable deposit was required for the vita to get the extras, you need to do that everywhere if you want them and most console launches require some deposit.

    yeah it makes sense but I was kinda caught off guard (didnt have 30 squids on me) will pop in again after chrimbo and slap down my 30 yoyos, gotta get me one of those babies release day :D thank god for birthday in Januray

    Wasn't the most excited about the Vita until I started watching all the unboxing videos from Japan, which is a strange trigger, but now I'm in awe of it, will probably make the said deposit sometime this week now...

    On ebay it seems the best you can get is the non-3G model for €300 including postage.
    Now, given the launch price for it is going to be in the region of €250, a €50 premium to have it early is quite acceptable, plus you'll be able to swap out the mem card change it's territory, so importing and local games abound!
    Well, they will when they actually come out.
