So the new itunes (on the new pc) doesn't see any music files on the ipod?

thats right....is it not showing because the files were not consolidated? i'm not sure. But from a little digging on the web, i came up with, Podlift, Tripod iPod and ipodtocomputer transfer, which are supposed to do the job without having the old computer. Ill try them over the weekend and see, and ill come back and tell you if any of them works. Pity Apple don't have a simple method because computers can crash, get stolen etc.
