as we all know Skyward Sword is a prequel and features the very first Link and Zelda. Now most people know how it all began, the question is how do you think it will end? What will be it's finale?

I read somewhere that the people behind Zelda have a very elaborate idea of the overall plot and that all the games will eventually tie in to one another someway or another leading up to some kind of fantastic conclusion, whether we will see this next year or 10 years down the line is another thing entirely. :D

I reckon any notions of some grand meta plot pulling in all the games into an interwoven, consistent epic are just so much fan fiction, there are some games that have definite links, Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. But there is as much chance of a conclusion of the Zelda stories as there is of a Final Fantasy game actually being final.
I do recall the green tunic being referred to as a hero costume through the ages somewhere along the way so that might be the one connection, as well as the overall deity /religion aspect of the series seems consistent throughout as well as the consistent meaning of the triforce.
So I guess we have to just appreciate the consistent quality of the Zelda series and the enjoyment we all get and not get too hung up on the other stuff.

That's wishful thinking, it'll never happen.

There are certainly running theme's (hero of time, her of whatever, triforce, green tunic) but it doesn't really matter, the games are fantastic :p
