Anyone know of someone doing printer repairs, I know it might be make more sense to buy a new one but I spent weeks setting it up wirelessly and couldn't face all that again. I've also just splashed out over €100 on ink cartridges for the damn thing  It's a Samsung CLP 315W.

It's finally picking up the wireless signal, so that's ok. The problem occurs when I switch it on, sometimes I get the blue wireless light along with the lovely green light that lets me print. More often I get the blue light with the horrible red one ! I have the most recent drivers, I have new cartridges installed, emptied the waste toner and use decent paper so I can't figure out what else is up with it. I noticed that it occasionally gets very hot, specifically the red roller at the top part of the machine. Not sure if that's relevant. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Might just need a service? not sure if you can buy maintenance kits in shops or what way it works. There is a thing called a Page Count in that laser printers will print a set amount of pages before it needs another service. Some printers display when it needs one, others dont. Worth looking into it though.

    try doing a firmware upgrade.

make sure you have the printer connected to the pc with a usb cable.... NEVER upgrade the firmware using wireless.

Thanks Folks, updated the firmware using Syncthru and so far so good, fingers crossed it stays working.
    Cheers
