    hi all

    i found out that i have to be able to drive in england by the 26th of this month .I rang the RSA and spoke to a lovely lady and she got me a test on the 22nd in the afternoon.Assuming that i pass (Hopefully) is ther any mechanism in the tax office that would allow me to have the pink ticket by my flight on the 26th

    Ask them nicely!

    How quickly you get the license depends entirely on the centre in question, i've heard of some making them on the spot, where as others post them out to them. Best to ask nicely I think.

    might have to tub on the christmas spirit haha
    ill bring a copy of the flight details if all goes well!

    u would be very lucky if u get licence in time -- even if u pass and u get into tax office
    with all the forms -- 9/10 times they give u receipt and post out the licence

    but as some of the other say bring flight stuff with u and u might get someone that
    is in xmas mood and might be able to work a miracle

    but dont get your hopes up if its in dublin
