fitness advise

    Hi Lads,

    Just looking for advice and opinions on my weekly fitness activity. i have always been in fairly good shape, but not much muscle ...i really want to push it on this year. 5ft 10 11.5 stone

    have a few weights lying around home so started using them three times a week , i also try to get a 3 mile run on a wednesday and then another run or a 6-8 mile cycle at the weekend.

    weight workout wud be
    10x10 20kg barbell shoulder squats, have been doing this three times a week for past month, find it good. is the weight too low. and should i mix it up with other exercises if the gains stop. 20kg plates are all i have at the moment.

    3x10 benchpress again with the 20kg as it is all i have, use wide and short grip. is it worth doing with with such little weight.

    just finish then with maybe 20 pressups.

    diet with wud be good weekdays. with cereal, tea, peanut butter and toast for brekkie, lunch ;sandwich, three fruit and water. dinner usually meat with some veg. ie stir fry. then protein shake whenever feel like it.

    so to finish goal wud be to bulk up and get fitter for football..
