Trying to get car insurance, and hitting a few problems.
A restriction a lot of companies have is you have to be resident in UK or Ireland for the last 3-5 years.
How is someone that has been living away supposed to get insured?
Anyone know of a company that will cover me if I haven't lived here for that duration?

There shouldn't be a problem getting a quote however if you've not been insured here for more than three years any previous NCB will have expired.

Its fairly crap alright, my Dutch Insurance had no hassle accepting my no claims cert from Quinn Direct.

From talking to people that have moved to Ireland it doesnt work the other way around

So if I ever move back to Ireland I basically lose my 5 year + NCB
