UCI and other cinema brands do 'autism friendly' shows over here as everyone else who lives here [refering to this home, not the UK] goes rarely.

support staff have said the sound is lower, the lights are on and if anyone shouts, challenges and so on they are not treated like dirt.

however the last time everyone from here went-they had turned up to the door only to find out they had canceled it-not very autism friendly canceling things without any warning whatsoever-apparently not enough people had turned up to make up the money.
this is just own view, but it really depends on how a person experiences their autism/ASD as to whether it is accessible or not-it isnt autism friendly at all for many of us.

staff had said the cinema at the trafford centre does autism friendly showings, that one had to laugh at because to get into the cinema people have to go through an incredibly overcrowded, noisy, sensory overloading shopping centre, past food/chocolate and so on-which for many people with autism will cause challenging behavior.
itll never be an option for a lot of us,but that isnt a complaint at what cimenas offer, just a bit of a piss and moan.
