I have applied to three Intertrade Ireland graduate positions on 2nd of December, yet I haven't got a reply to my e-mail address or any confirmation that I have applied. Should I contact Intertrade Ireland again about my application or does this mean that I have been rejected from the three positions already?

I did a Fusion job before, it's over 2 years since i went through the application process but they were fairly slow so I wouldn't be too concerned.

To be fair they have to gather all the applicants, which is alot these days, filter them and fwd to the companies to review.

2nd December isn't that long ago. Most recruiters don't seem to confirm receipt of applications so I'd give them some more time.

It's a great programme IF you get a good company.

I've applied for three product design/design engineering placements. I've recently gone through interviews with two of them. Today, I've got rejection letters from them.

There are a lot of people applying for Intertrade Ireland placements, and what I advise is:

Before interview, read about the project that the company you're applying for is doing. Then, think of how you're going to contribute to that project, and start thinking about the technologies that you're going to use in its development.

If you will have this figured out, you're going to compete with other applicants based on your proposition to the company. If you're not, the interview will be very short.

I have applied to three NPD roles all across Ireland...last week I got an interview with a company and still waiting news from them...In my opinion I did a very good interview, gave them few suggestions how to improve their brand and marketing, hopefully everything will be fine...

do you know generally in how many days/weeks they'll give you an answer? I guess that positive answers are faster than the other one because the candidate should think about the offer IMHO...

a friend of mine did an interview for a company in dublin in october...in the interview the owner told him he got the job but after two weeks he got the PFO letter form the HR ...such a prick the owner..

anyway I'll cross my fingers...do you think the programme is worth? I mean is something really so good for your career? I was reading that depend which company you'll get...if good is worth otherwise is a waste of time...
