G18 not firing

    Have a G18 I just got from someone on adverts, but it's got serious problems. The fire selector is fiddly as hell, takes forever of messing around to get it to click to either semi or auto. Then Filled the mag with gas, and nothing, firstly, it only seems to fire after pushing the back hammer forward with my thumb, and even at that, it's not feeding bb's from the mag, and after each shot, it has to be pushed forward, again. Then, after a few shots like that, the mag just expels all the gas eventually, wasting it. Any pointers on where to begin?

    Only after fixing one myself the other day. First thing i would try first is take the slide off and spray abit of silicone oil spray into the piston chamber and also check that the rubber seal inside the chamber hasnt come off. As for the switch, it might have been takin apart and not put back right, also their abit tricky to do if you havent done one before.
