People shouldn't assume snow falling will be the shítstorm we got in the last two years. The likelihood of that level of snow three years in a row is surely low. BTW, I've no idea, but I'd be surprised if it did snow.

Do not mock the question. Snow in Sligo on December 14th is important.

In olden times there was an oft-recited poem from the north-west that went thusly:

December snow in Sligo on the fourteenth
Means a fine spring for Connaught's little lambeens,
And rain on the morn that follows thereafter
Will mean a thriving harvest for you or your master,
Wind and gales that may billow your sails
Means a fine and festive Christmas prevails,
But hailstones and sleet are just sh*t so let's hope we don't get them.
