    What's your favourite OS ?

    Mine would be windows.
    I must say I F***g hate Macs with a passion.
    Thank God Apple will be dead in 4 yrs time.

    How do they both get away with what they do though ??

    I laugh at people that say "But I can design better on the macs with photoshop or it's better for music !

    That's just complete bollix really, you've obviously never had a real pc in the past if this is the case. Apple is nothing more than a toy, all their hardware reminds me of Fisher Price toys.

    The reason you never get virus's is because no one is arsed creating one for the mac as windows outranks the Mac by probably 6.9billion : a few thousand macs in each country so what would be the point.

    Another reason you cannot break or damage them is because they onlyhave about 8 settings on it compared to windows thousands of settings.

    OSX do not use the Linux kernel.

    Both have stolen and "stolen" things, same with Google and several other companies.

    Also I don't even know how you could "steal" the Linux kernel anyway.

    come on PPL, we all know Apple have basically stolen the core of the Linux Kernel. - Look it up or else decompile the OS and compare it to Ubuntu

    No, it is not the Linux kernel.

    There is the unix underpinnings which derive from *BSD's and other open source code, but not the Linux kernel.

    Sorry mate, but you are completely wrong.

    As much as i hate apples marketing and general evilness.

    They are far superior machines for music production. Anyone who is serious about music production will tell you the same.

    This comes from an ex windows fan boy of 10 years.
