Only 146 votes? It's a dog's life...

Heh. Only noticed it today, but Dublin South Central candidate Paul King had a very amusing way of promoting his campaign earlier this year.

As we all know, governments need a good bath every so often... even if we don't enjoy it, and they don't either. :pac:

That man needs to know how to use a metaphor. That was painful to read.

Saw that at the time. Laughed.

Read it again there. Laughed again.

Potential opener for Seinfeld in the O2 next year? Perhaps Mr. King, perhaps.

Vote for me because my dog rolls in shit!

I mean he could have been more inventive. There's a whole South Park episode he could have plagiarised!

I also love how his dog is described as a "young, likeable, mixed bread rascal".

Is the dog half soda, half white-pan?
Is Paul King in favour of, or against, mixed-bread creatures?

I'd sooner vote his dog into power.

I find candidates are better at putting me off them rather than getting me to want to vote for them. This guy is a pro.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Poor guy, imagine the red faced shame of standing up in the election hall and hearing your vote tally of 146 announced to everyone. There must have been audible sniggering and guffawing.

I'm just surprised he got 146 votes in the first place.

    Must be all animal lovers.
