Quick fix for a Hoarse throat

Hi,
my throat is sore the last few days. Trying to fix it with constant soothers and strepsils. I can only say a few words then its all squeaky and quiet.

I need to be able to talk in 2 hours time!

Anyone got an idea for a quick fix?

Your shopping list:
Lemons
Honey
Sugar
TCP Liquid
Merocets

Dilute the TCP and gargle with it like mad.

Boil water. Juice a lemon into a mug. Pour in boiling water. Add 2 good spoons of honey. Add sugar to taste. (Optional: shot of whiskey in there too for good measure)

Take Merocets as directed. I find they're better than Strepsils. A lot better.
