Never heard about them before but if you use paypal you should be safe enough.
If you don't get it or if there is something wrong with it don't release funds.
It's a great price. I'd ring them first and see what they can do regarding shipping and avoiding tax.
I got stung for €50 when I bought a rangefinder still worked out cheaper than buying here.

Plus VAT if you get snared by customs, €212 @ 21% = €44.52 more, plus handling fee if the crowd who bring it in have to pay the VAT on your behalf

    They're hardly €350 on amazon.com?

I got mine from a seller via amazon.com search for $229. And that was a package with free case, car charger and balls.

Not me selling it but there's a Golf Buddy World (brand new) on DoneDeal at the moment:
    http://www.donedeal.ie/find/golf/for-sale/Ireland/

It's €250 but I'd imagine you'd haggle a couple of euro off that too.

Might be safer than buying from some dodgy US site.

Could you send me a link or the name of where you bought it from please? Thats a good deal in fairness!

    hi bailey,

in the end i got free shipping, but was caught by customs with VAT for 60e. There was no other custom charges as it was marked as a gift, so in total, was 280e, which was still a good deal cheaper than anywhere here for the Platinum model.

I got it thru amazon.com marketplace. The seller was Ace Photo Digital. Highly recommended. They even gave me a $25 refund due to an error in the listing about the no. of golf balls included.
