    Hi,
Just wondering if anyone can offer some advice on the following problem. Got the folks a Saorview TV and all channels picked up without issue. Got a Ferguson Ariva 120 Box for 2nd TV and no problem picking up the satellite channels, but will not pick up the Saorview Channels when i do terrestrial scan. The anologue signal had been poor into both TVs previously, hence new purchase of TV and box for 2nd TV, but was I wrong to presume that because channels were picked up with the Saorview TV that the same would happen with the combi-box?

Will do a manual scan and see if that has any impact, but would welcome any other thoughts/suggestions ...

are you using any splitters? masthead amps? distribution amps?

It's quite likely that the tv that appears to be functioning fine is just above the threshold of glitch-free reception. The combi box may have a slightly worse quality aerial feed or its tuner may not be as sensitive.

Your aerial system most likely needs a thorough going over: cables, connections, the aerial itself & any splitters, amps etc.

Or you might just be in a poor signal area.
