    Folks,

We have a solid fuel stove in our house and we are looking to get it fitted properly. Basically we'd need to get it all sealed, and the pipe sealed into the chimney flue.

We were given a price of €170 to fully fit it and I was wondering if thats a fair price?

I would of thought this was reasonable price, probably take 2 people to do the work 1/2 a day

Have you got the flue kit yourself or is this included in the price for fitting?

Also, are you using just a flue adaptor or flexi pipe to the top of the chimney?

What stove, boiler or non boiler?

I know I have fitted quite a few stoves and never has it taken more than 3 hours for a non boiler stove.

    Hi whitelightrider

How did you get on in the end with your stove.

Currently looking at getting one in myself.

    Thanks
