I have a AIB student Mastercard credit card. A few sites i buy off are in dollars and i pay through Paypal. In general is it cheaper for AIB to charge the card in dollars (and pay whatever currency exchange fees) or let Paypal convert it to Euro and charge it that way?

In my experience Paypal give a poor exchange rate.

I find PayPal is better value than Ulster bank, due to ERTF fees..... Ulsterbank is cheaper than amazon though (UK site anyway)
