House Unsellable due to untidy Neighbours

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong thread, please move if so thanks. My Mam passed away in February and left me her house in Drimnagh. Its a end of terrace well maintained but old fashioned house with a huge back garden. The problem is the next door neighbour who livea in the corner house. She is rude, untidy, leaves rubbish and furniture in the side garden beside the entrance to mams house. She has let her children run riot with the result that her house has become the local gathering spot for every gurrier within a mile radius. She is separated and as I can see has no back up. But because of her, the area has become synonymous with anti social behaviour. My Mams house was valued in March at €270,000 and due to this woman, my estate agent has told me that my mams house is virtually unsellable and I would be lucky to get 90,000 as the only 2 people have viewed thought travellers lived next door. What on earth can I do. I have contact a local TD, the guards but nothing seems to be working. Is it illegal to leave such rubbish in the front garden? I swear I am not being greedy and understand the way the property market is and would be happy to get €150,000 for it (which I think it is worth due to its size) but I cannot accept €90,000. Can anyone offer any advice? thank you so much and again sorry if in the wrong thread. Happy Christmas as well!

    Two options, use them carefully.

    Council litter warden.

    Offer to help out.

Thanks Victor, I offered to help shortly after I put the house on the market and she took it as a huge insult and basically told me to eff off. She has 2 huge teenage boys as well and to be honest I dont want to get involved again, but I have to do something. I will contact the local litter warden as well.

    Pursue Victor's second option.

Going to Litter Warden and/or a TD counter productive

Contact a Solicitor and initiate proceedings under the tort of private nuisance if this conduct is persistent, unreasonable and hampers your enjoyment of the property.

Otherwise, go with Victors option and don't make enemies and it just may well work out.

I think I may have to go another route as I tried to reason with her before but was met with a lot of aggression, from her and her sons. I am not good with aggressive people so I wont put myself in that position again. I'll go with the safer option and contact the litter warden. Thanks for your help guys, at least its a start.

Does she own or rent the house? If she's renting, you can contact the landlord to do something about the rubbish.
