    Well, a list of some great influential photographers alright and happy to see two of my own favorites sneak in at the end : Tony Ray Jones and Helen Levitt.

    However, I can't help but look at the list and think we look at things in a very restricted bourgouis western manner. Most are from a handful of western countres, with no reference to the great 19th century - early 20th Century photography from the Middle East (for instance), or the modern Japanese School of Photography, both of which were/are quite influential in their own way.
