Provided I keep the windows/doors/boot closed while in motion, none of my vehicles produce any litter whatsoever.

    05 pajero 3.2 auto

    i'm getting 800km's to a tank so 1o litre's to 100km, which is 28mpg i think,

on long motorway runs not towing and doin 100k i'll get 1300km's to a tank so 6.2ish litres per 100km

or towing a box trailer doin 120 i can only get 550km to a tank. so 14.5 litres to 100km's

Ask Young Connor from Bill Cullen's Apprentice 2011. After the last show, he'll remember MPG v L/100km conversion table for the rest of his life, no doubt. :D

not sure but i can put like 80 euro in when its about 1/4 so i would say its probably around 60 litre

Ah - 3.2 has a much bigger tank so :)

I managed to squeeze 92 litres in last week, and it wasn't bone dry at that. :(

    Probably 95l total including reserve

ye the 3.2 lwb has a 90l tank, usual fill is €130 at todays prices.

    Vehicle: Nissan Pathfinder (7 seater)
    Year: 2007
    Transmission: Manual
    Range: 630Km
Cost of Tank: €95-€100 from empty
    Economy: 10-13L/100KM (28mpg-21mpg)

Never towed anything so this is based on standard on-road driving.

is it a swb?? defo something wrong if your getting that on a lwb. or your odometer could be in miles for some strange reason cause then it would work out perfectly, 500miles is roughly 800km

Thats scary consumption. I thought the newer DI-DC engines were supposed to be more refined and better on the go-go juice

thats without a load BTW, its worse with a trailer and a couple of tonne weight behind.. Im thinking its down to the autobox and a lot of shortish journies. Its pretty bad on motorway too though, anything over 100km/hr and you can see the gauge drop:(

Mines an auto ('05), and my average over the past 7,300 miles (started logging it all in September) is 28mpg - had a best of 30, and a low of 25. My best ever return so far was 618miles to a tank - most of that motorway from Mitchelstown to Belfast and back with cruise set at (an indicated) 75mph.

Yup - commercialised LWB Shogun with the 3.2 under the bonnet.

618 mile run was done on the standard 17's

I'll have to put it down to my driving so :-( mine is SWB so should be equal or better MPG!!

I would have thought so alright. Normal driving a heavy foot could explain it - its watching the needle drop at 100km/h on the motorway that has me really confused.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 170 ✭✭db330

The swb does have a smaller tank so your never gonna get near the lwb as far as range goes but it's a 60l tank (i think not sure though) so 550km would be reasonable between fills, the loss of 50km could be heavy foot or as you said short journeys (they use alot of diesel when cold). These modern autobox's shouldn't affect it that much (meant to be better on motorways but alot worse for towing fuel wise)

I have a 1998 Toyota Landcruiser Amazon. I have checked it many times, and it always comes out at 22.5 MPG which is about 12.5L / 100K

(Less when towing a trailer, obviously, about 18 MPG then :()

    DSCF5496.jpg

My old 1993 2.5 Pajero LWB used to only do 26 MPG, as it screamed along the M7 at about 4000 RPM and only 130KPH!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 889 ✭✭✭doctorchopper

just checked my owners manual, 71 litre for swb 90 litre lwb. So if you are using 9 litre/100km then you would get an extra 233 km, so thats a bit closer then

What kind of mileage are people getting out of 3lt landcruisers? thinking of buying one.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,811 ✭✭✭✭Slidey

    Mercedes Sprinter 413.

I was getting about 29mpg before the compressor and another tool box went into it. Reckon its down to mid 20's now.

I am afraid to fill it now to get a proper calculation

Always makes me smile worrying about mpg on these things!

For the record, my Td5 110 averages 26-27mpg locally. Best it ever did was 32mpg with an intermediate bearing gone in the Tbox, drove across the UK back to the ferry at 55mph max :o

My 101 with it's 3.5 V8 petrol does a very scary 12mpg, getting choosy about which shows I take it to these days!

Apple only? Can't find it on Android Market.

Currently using Fuel Log Pro, same idea but uses a lot more screens to display the information so not as concise.
