High Data Usage With O2

Hi all not sure to post here or over in the talk to o2.

Since I got my 4s on the 29 oct I'm noticing really high data usage.
Now I dont think its my 4s as my partner is also noticing very high data usage as well, she has iphone 4.

We have noticed this over the last few weeks. Have wifi at home and its always on. On my last bill there was nearly 650MB and so far this month I have used nearly 800MB. I never got any way near this before. Luckily I have 1G data but she has only 250MB limit.

This is also around the time of the ios5 release. There is a lot of 49MB used each day and yesterday I was at home all day on the wifi and still used this 49MB.

Has anyone else noticed high data usage.

the 49mb per day is just the way billing works but for some reason it seems to be only using mobile data and not wifi

If its happening to the both of you, maybe it might be an issue with th router? Try forgetting the network and setting it up again

Dont think its the router as everything works ok.Took this of a another site.

What does my 50 MB allowance get me?
You can visit 100s of sites, check your mails, or download the latest music and games. It really depends on the kind of pages you are viewing. A web page designed specifically to work on a mobile phone uses approximately 20–25KB, meaning you could view up to 2,500 pages. Standard web pages – those designed for computers – use about 100kB. In this case 50MB would still mean you could view up to 500 pages in any one day.

Would never get to look at that many web pages a day. I would look at some videos but she would not. So im not sure i have seen my data rise a fair bit.

    This might be worth trying.

In settings go to iCloud > documents and data. Make sure 'use cellular' is switched off.
