    Well lads,

Driving an Astra 1.6 club and having a strange problem this evening. The illuminator lights above the rear license plate just will not go off. All doors are fully closed, all lights off and car remote locked but the lights are staying on. Any idea how to fix this? Really don't need a flat battery in the morning.

    Cheers,

    Dj

This is a common fault in opals and vauxhalls.

Take the bulbs (or fuse) out! You obviously have a short somewhere and at least that will give you time to trace it without draining the battery.

Remove the fuse or cut the cables.

Only cut cables if your not going to use it again
