Saw the estate version of this on sat and thought it didnt look as good in the metal, the alloys looked very small for the body.

I saw one too, not great.

    Saloon is quite nice though.

Not bad looking as estates go, but could do with a big set of wheels. The standard ones look lost in the arches.

I'll wait for the far nicer looking Kia version of it

Had one behind me in traffic one night...wasn't sure what it was as the front lights didn't look familiar. Thought it looked well though. Are kia doing an estate version of that one above? What are they calling it?

Am I really saying this !!!! Thats a good looking car. A good looking Kia, whats the world coming to?

In fairness, that Peter Sc!!!!!! (TT designer) bloke is doing a good job there.

Shades of accord, 93, Subaru, Lexus in there, but the whole lot works very well

    Ah very good :)

Anyway, I'm gonna have to eat so humble pie an say "I was wrong" .... because I was a harsh and unfair critic of the more modern Kias coming out. I still dont think much of a Ceed tbh but the Soul is cool, the new Sportage,Picanto and Rio are all on the money and that machine above is a proper good looking car that I'd actually want (God did I just say something like this again!)

Importanly for Kia the new stuff looks European. Infact some of it looks more European than the Europeans themselves. Go figure! Me thinks that Hyundai should be worried the most.

As a matter of interest , what else did Peter Sc....eee..wweerr design ?

Never thought we'd hear that from a man in the know !

All this style added to Kia reliability.

I know that but Kia were supposed to be the poor relation in all this. There isnt a single Hyundai I'd take over its Kia sister now. That said, there isnt a single Hyundai I ever want anyway. :D

Similar car to a Passat so that's to be expected.

The first I40 wagons I saw were on the back of a transporter that was dropping stuff to me. Thought they were Accord Wagons and only went for a closer look as I'd been told the Accord wagons weren't being sold, a couple of days previously.

It is a cracking looking car in my opinion. I believe the interior quality is pretty high and they drive well too. Have one on order that is due early January, so will get to have a closer look then.

The original Audi TT, and various indistinguishable Audis and VWs.
