Hi, your best bet for all this is to go into revenue.ie and do a search for "IT48". This is a revenue document going through all the tax implications of starting a business, I think section 7 of this should answer your query above. If you need further advice after reading this let me know. I take it you have registered the business for tax and ticked the box on the registeration that you will be an employer (section D of TR2)
