i seen the i5 and tought good price and its in a bricks and mortar shop too or if any one else has any idea,s my budget is 500

Be very wary of buying off argos. I bought a Msi off them 15 months ago. It had to be sent back after 30+ days because of faulty ram and was gone for 5 weeks and last week developed faults that i'm now told means the hard drive is shagged.

I don't see any "catch" with the laptop.
Reviews are good, spec is good and price is great.

I'd say go for it, your not going to do much better at that price and MSI is a good brand.
I would think you got unlucky with your laptop Ordinary man, I can't see any reviews online suggesting that these fail a lot.

    Interfaces and connectivity:

Secure Digital (SD), Memory Stick (MS), Memory Stick Pro (MS-Pro), xD, Multi-Media Card (MMC) compatible.
    2 USB ports.
    1 Ethernet port
    1 HDMI port.
    Wi-Fi enabled.

Two USB ports would rule me out, but other than that good price for the spec, you'll be hard pushed to find much better, even online.

Yeah looks like a mistake alright. This from the UK Argos site
"It has four USB ports (not 2 as listed) and two of these ports are for the faster USB 3.0 format which is a rare find on a mid-priced laptop and makes back-ups very straight forward. "

It's generally best practice to make your own thread for your own topic.

    Laptop!
