Microsoft Word Question

    Hello all,
    I'm having a problem trying to reference on Microsoft Word. When I google how to do it,it says that there should be a reference tab along with mailings,review and view. I don't have these tabs,the ones I have are Home,Insert,Page Layout and Mailings. I swear I've searched everywhere on it and can't find it. Its a 2010 version. Anyone know how to?

    Thanks North West,turns out I only had a Word starter,not a full version.
