Amber (warning) Light?

    Hello,

    Car: 2003 Ford Fiesta, Ghia,

    A light came on on my car a couple of days ago while driving. For anyone that has the same car, it's just to the left of the 7 on the Rev meter. It's an amber light. I kept driving and didn't notice anything different, but still wanted my mechanics opinion. He wasn't sure what it meant, but he used a fault tester I think and the light went away, but it came back again this morning.

    Again, I notice nothing different about the car but still it is worrying to see a light like that.

    If anyone has any ideas as to what it could mean I'd be very thankful!

    If there isn't any replies soon I'll try and upload a picture to show the light I'm talking about. In a weird description, I say it looks like a video camera you hold on your shoulder!!
