Has anyone on here taken any coillte ground for rough shooting.

Do you know ball park what it cost per Hctre?

I have some close to where I live that has some lovely woodcock ground. Dont get me wrong I have no shortage of ground and shoot a good few/a lot of woodcock every year but I am just curious as to how much it costs.

It depends on the level of interest in the shooting of that ground. The more interest the more it will cost. There is no ball park figure.

For what its worth our club used to get a forestry for shooting up till around 2002, the cost was 130 pound. they pulled it when they put in some walks etc.

My own clubs rents coilte forestry for rough shooting and it goes out to tender every so many years and we put in a bid for the 5years roughly.A block of forestry which could be 5-6 forestrys and we pay it yearly to them then. i'm not sure on the prices as we have a few blocks taken but when we put in the tender thats spread out over the mount years we have it.
