    Hi there

I'm looking for 42'' LED TV and i will go for LG firm, but which of those models would be the best:
LG 42LW650T, 42PW450T, 42LW550T, 42LV550T. I'll be using it for films, sport, gaming (PC and console), 3D ready (passive), very good contrast ratio, progressive scan, wifi ready would be perfect if it has. Can You explain me what LG have in mind says SMART TV and which websites (except YouTube) i can use it. The other thing is what's the difference between LED and backlight LED and which one would be better.

    Thanks

Hi there,im far from an expert but i do subscribe to the AV forums and while i do not follow things religiously there i got the monthly newsletter recently carrying an article about the increasing trend in people avoiding LG TV`s lately.
I dont know the ins and outs but it might be worth checking out first.
A friend of mine has an LG TV less than 2 years and the panel is showing weird clouding and is clearly visible.
Im in the market for a 42" TV myself and i will be avoiding LG for sure.

I cant find the link unfortunately, id like to study it myself tbh, LG was one brand i had considered, id like to research a bit more before ruling them out totally.
If i find that link ill pass it on, my friends tv is an LCD 32 " 200hz screen, dont recall the model sorry.

If his telly is insured just send it to store and he might get another one. I'll keep on eye on LG, cuz don't wanna spend way more for Samsung or Philips.
