I think city are certainties but apart from them any of utd, spurs, arsenal, liverpool, chelsea and even though i personally dont think newcastle will be in contention I have put them into the poll.

never added a poll before so hope this works the plan is to have 4 votes each

    top four? 457 votes

    Chelsea
I think this weekend has show us how vulnerable spurs are without ledely king and in recent weeks I would have had them as definates for top 4 but I am not so sure now.

Newcastle have been shown up recently and I dont really see them close to it tbh.

chelsea, liverpool and arsenal are all going through a transition and any one of them is capable of putting runs together

City are certainties for top 4 and imo will win the league

utd the most likely 2nd place finishers but recent for and vidic injury it wouldnt suprise me to see them drop places

Man City will win league by April I think.

    United second.
    Tottenham third.
    Arsenal 4th.

Chelsea will miss out I feel, will be tight though. Can't see LIverpool getting it

Between United and City to take 1st and 2nd. Not a chance either will drop out of the top 4.

Chelsea to get third. Less certain but still highly likely to make top 4.

Spurs or Arsenal to get 4th. Liverpool with an outside chance.

A lot of the squads are very evenly matched so injuries and suspensions will obviously play a key role. It's kinda hard to predict.

    If RVP stays fit:
    1. City
    2. United
    3. Arsenal
    4. Spurs

    If not:
    1. City
    2. United
    3. Spurs
    4. Chelsea

What about if ledley king gets injured he is just as important to spurs chances

City, United and Chelsea will definitely be there IMO.

Arsenal would be favourites for me at the moment to finish 4th. I wouldn't write off Spurs either.

Liverpool have an outside chance but all of the above teams have stronger squads and first XI's IMO.

I don't think Newcastle stand much of a chance really.

I don't think I'll be too far off.

    1. City
    2. United
    3. Chelsea
    4. Arsenal
    5. Spurs
    6. Liverpool

I disagree. As long as Bale/VDV/Parker/Ade/Modric don't miss too many games, they're capable of out-scoring anyone.

King is important, sure... but not on the same scale as RVP.

RVP is the most important player in the league, when you consider how much a team relies on one single player, IMO.

So G.K., you think that Man United will finish outside the top 4 and Liverpool will finish ahead of them. Is that you talking with your Leeds specs on or would you like a bet on that?:D

As an Arsenal fan i think we will comfortably make the top four and might even come 2nd or third.Dont think we will win the league but with Jack wilshere coming back in the new year and if we buy another decent striker in january and fingers crossed RVP stays fit and in form then we should defo finish the season strong.

I read earlier that since harry took over spurs have won 74% with king playing and only 33% without him they also concened twice as many without him.

though i do think arsenal are screwed without rvp also

There was also a stat where Spurs won a far greater percentage of games when Modric didn't play as opposed to when he did.

I agree that King is important but sometimes those stats are very misleading.

but it is very evedent that spurs are a shambles at the back when king is missing there is also a much bigger sample size of games that king missed rather than modric

Ya, the Modric stat was over a surprisingly large sample also, wouldn't have compared it otherwise.

I don't think Spurs would miss King as much as they would have done in seasons gone by. They'll have Dawson to come back soon and Kaboul has improved massively. Gallas isn't half bad either tbf.

I agree though Spurs are of course a better side with Ledley King in it.

From what everyone is saying it wasn't King missing yesterday which caused them to lose so I wouldn't over emphasis that point.

However I do think it will be the same as last year with City top .

Correction. Last weekend showed how vulnerable Spurs are when the utterly incompetent Chris Foy referee's the match.

I think Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea are near certainties for a Top 4 finish. Then its between Spurs and Arsenal for the other spot. I'd pick Spurs as RVP will inevitably miss a month or two through injury and they have no one to replace him.

Dependant on how fit Van Persie can stay I give Arsenal the nod along with City United and Chelsea

If Van Persie goes down to injury Spurs could sneak in.
