Humax Freesat+ only recording part of programmes

I have a Humax Freesat+ box, I've had it a while, but it's only recently I managed to get the second satellite connection put in. I've been using just the one until now, but even though it now has two, it still only records a section of the programmes, although it now says it's recorded the whole thing. Anyone got any ideas what's going on here?
Also (I don't know if the two are connected) but when I try to delete certain programmes from 'Media' it tells me it's restricted and then it clears the page. To see the programme listing again I need to switch off the box and let it reboot.
If anyone has any tips or tricks do let us know, it's driving me daft...!!

Try a full "set up" scan.

If you only connected the second cable recently you will probably have to do a factory reset - it should sort you out. It's in the Menu options.

You won't lose your recordings but it will clear the list if any recirdings you may have scheduled. Good idea to write down the list if there is anything you or significant other need. Also good idea to take note of the postcode you want to use again as you will have to re-enter that too.

During the set up it should show you the signal levels for both tuners and indicate if there are any issues with strength.

    Should be sorted after that.

Thanks guys, I tried both of these...but it's still only recording 20-22 minutes of any programme I set. I'm totally bamboozled.

Try changing the setting to record 5 min before and after.
your box is probably set to auto

    Menu
    Settings
    Recording
Recording Start Time & End time (set each to 5min)

Are you getting a strong signal on both tuners?
