I've noticed that there's lots of posters on here with a great knowledge of birds and animals, much more than myself. I like birdwatching, and was interested to know if any posters on here would be interested in going in a group to some birding spots. For me it'd have to be in and around the Dublin / Wicklow area, as I'm living in Dublin. I know that posters here are spread around the country, but I thought it'd be good to see if there's enough posters based in/near Dublin that we could get a little group together to do this :)

    what say ye?

The BirdWatch Ireland branches in Dublin and Wicklow organise outings every month, as well as hosting indoor meetings.

I know of Birdwatch Ireland, but I was asking to see if any boardsies wanted to make a group.

I'd say yes but getting up and getting to the east coast in time to make it worthwhile is probably beyond me!

From my beginners observations so far in terms of photography, and bird spotting, maybe summer is better in any case? I find that at the mo I have very few hours of good light for photos... is annoying as hell!
