    Cant decide Guys...
Flying out at 6 am next Friday with the better half.
    Bewleys do a great 89euro Park8days, Stay1night & Fly deal

Thats going to involve a shuttle bus from the hotel

On the other hand i could try a cheap hotel and then drive to the DAA car park. Its 39euro for the Express Long Term Red with only a 5 min shuttle bus.

Same price - prob the same thing.
Any reason to go for one over the other?
    Prob doesnt amke much difference
    Anyone?
    Thanks!

Where are you driving from? Would you not just drive up that morning?

Anyway! I'd park in the airport doesn't make much difference on the way out, but it will when you get home and you can just throw your bags in the car and head straight for home instead of waiting for a shuttle getting onto it with bags, unloading again at bewleys, into car and then get going. It'll save time tbh!

There is not much difference between getting on a shuttle bus to a car park and getting on one to Bewley's.

I have done it both ways, and think I would take the Bewley's option again. It's an oddly-fascinating hotel - not in a bad way - because of the volume of airport-related business. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

    .

True, didn't think about the fact that you'd have to get the shuttle bus to the car park!!

I stayed in Bewleys when we had an early flight to Orlando last year. To be honest, I was that worried about the shuttle being late etc, that we ended up getting up mad early and being in the airport hours before our flight! I live in Cork and would not bother staying in an airport hotel again, I can be in the airport from my home in less than two hours at a quiet time, so don't see the benefit.

I found the parking in Bewleys pretty cramped and crowded. The shuttle to the aiport was fine, but we were waiting for ages for the shuttle back to the hotel when we returned from our holiday (in the rain of course!). The hotel itself is fine and we had pretty good bar food the evening before, so if you are determined to stay in a hotel the night before, then Bewleys is probably your best option. But where are you coming from? I wonder how much time you are really saving by staying in a hotel.

I'm sure that depends on the time of year. There was plenty of space when I used it in October. I wouldn't like to take a chance in it in July or August or at school mid-terms.
