I would say 4am, but then again it depends on how the early fights go!

    Get that alarm clock set!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,960 ✭✭✭✭Discodog

    Sod that - there's a re run at 10am :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,351 ✭✭✭djhaxman

Ring walk at the earliest 3:50, they've just said. Sod that is right, 10 am sounds much better to me :D

    Kavanagh looks absolutely awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

He got the head pucked off him in that round.

f*ck me, he is looking shocking here Jamie

So many basic errors, awful stuff altogether. amazing the bad habits he has, even when training day in day out at the supposed best boxing gym on the planet

Looked slightly better after the first one sided round but has a serious lack of defence

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

He doesn't have a defense at all.

he just looks so green, i'm honestly shocked at this performance

he will no doubt be given the decision even though he has yet to really win a round. This lad will stop him if hes up for it.

its a bit like Bernard Dunne, minus the fundamentals.

    which is saying something

I don't even think he can get this! Draw at best?

its a golden boy promotion remember, he'll get a draw at least.

Kavanagh will be KO'd id this lad steps it up

when you are feather fisted, you better be tight in other areas and he is not even close to being tight.

Shocking stuff. Very little sign of any quality whatsoever. And to think he was a light welter at one stage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

He will probably get it 4-2. I had it 3-3 though and that was being kind to Kavanagh.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

Macklin reckons he won that comfortably :D

Look at the difference in the faces!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 104 ✭✭jjspine

I reckon it's gonna be tougher for khan to get a decision should it go all the way

He lost that on my card

I had high hopes for him but on that he is going no where fast. :(

The lads in the studio made a good point, he may be in Freddie's gym, but it doesn't look like he's spending anytime with Freddie. The Spanish has seemingly been his trainer before he went to Freddie's gym. He's young but I don't know with that style will be achieve a whole lot. Lost that on my card aswell.

Tyson Fury would want to avoid Seth Mitchell anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

Mitchell bet the head of him there in that round! Now I might be able to stay up for Khan without falling asleep.

10 real great connections i counted there in a row to finish that off, a nice count out!

Very calm and composed for a guy who took it up at 25.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,165 ✭✭✭deisedave

Will Khan walk this easily or will Peterson put up a fight?

I am tempted to back peterson

absolutely, great accuracy and power aswell

I think he is too small though to trouble the K-brothers though

love to see a separate division with a 225lb limit

Peterson is no slouch, Khan wont stop him but will win by UD handily

There was no wild punches there, he used every one of them very well and kept calm. Good finishing against an opponent that had never been stopped.

First thing I thought looking at him though was the Klitschkos would destroy him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,625 ✭✭✭✭Johner

    That is some almighty booing.

    The speed of Khan, unreal!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,787 ✭✭✭Jayob10

his handspeed is blinding, i think khans footwork isn't as impressive as they are making out though, Khan is very hittable

i think this fight will settle down and more it goes on the more it may turn into Petersons fight

neither of those were knock downs either

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,165 ✭✭✭deisedave

Its starting to calm down a wee bit now

This ain't going the distance, only a matter of time before Khan lands something telling.
