One of our kitchen unit lighting tubes blew a few weeks back.
I couldn't manage to get through to the kitchen supplier on Friday.
Also a light fitting supplies company near where I live said they don't stock them. I seem to recall them stocking them at one time, though...

Anyway from what I can figure out the generic model number is

F6T5CW i.e. it is a 6 watt fluorescent tube, T5 type (2 pins on either end) and cool white colour.

Where, in Ireland can I reliably get a couple of these as replacements/standby replacements ?

Most electrical trade suppliers would have them in stock.
