Delays in DART services?

    Hi all.

Does anyone know when the DART services are going to resume in Bray?

My friends have been waiting for already an hour to get a DART to the Northside (where I live) to meet me because we are suppose to be going up North shopping today.

Fuming to be honest. Another example of how incompetent our public transport service is, you wouldn't want to be in a hurry or anything.

Irish Rail must be one of the most incompetent rail operators in the world!
If you follow their tweets, there is hardly a day goes by without tweets of delays of a significant extent caused by signalling faults, train faults, operational faults or other reasons on the DART. The Dublin-Belfast train is regularly late or delayed or interrupted even in these post-terrorism times. Can you count the number of times that the DART's inside carriage scrolling notice says (in two languages naturally!) something like "This train is for Bray - next station Sydney Parade" as a northbound train leaves Killester going towards Howth?. A shower of incompetents!

Exactly, you would think anyone with a brain would have the system GPS based so it's never wrong, don't know what kind of system the DART is using, wouldn't be suprised if the driver had to update it manually from the cab each time. The current system is unreliable and should be disabled or removed until a suitable replacement can be found.
