2,2 diesel primera problem

    i have a 2,2 diesel primera that is not running well at all when started the rev counter goes up and down and when your driving it can loose power when your only start to drive it ok when your driving from 30-70 mph :confused:

    What year and model.does it happen when hot or cold.first thing in the morning.r all the time be more specific please

    its a 2002 2.2 turbo diesel mostly it happens when its cold but some times it happens when your taking off it looses power and get smokie thanks

    Does it go away when the car is warmed up? It could be a nummber of things but if it was the turbo, I think the issue would be more consistant.

    once the car is going over 20 mph it is fine it,s only sometimes when it cold the rev counter drops down till it nearly cuts out on the motorway it does not miss a beat

    it looks like there is diesel leaking from just in front of the back wheel on the tank side

    Ur discription is vague if I could c it would be a Hugh help but mayb start from the start with all the problems and tell me what you have done and didn't do
