Hi all,

I have a glowworm BBU that has been giving trouble for a few weeks now. It was firing up, but cutting out after a few minutes, and then restarting 10 mins later. Incidentally the gas fire has worked perfectly throughout.

Now the boiler has stopped firing at all, it clicks and clicks but doesn't light.
Thing is, I've rung 5 different heating repair places in Dublin 9, and sat in on three separate occasions waiting on someone to call, to no avail. I'm currently waiting on someone who was due to call between 1 and 3, who it seems now cannot make it.

I cant take any more time off work, so I'm wondering, if there a simple fix that I could do myself? One place I called said it wasn't worth their time calling out as they're focussing on 'bigger jobs' before Christmas.
