door lock problem

05 seat leon mk1 passengers door not locking with the rest and the interior light wont come on when its opened. anyone any ideas whats wrong??

Faulty lock mechanism I would say Sean. Some people have had success repairing them but I have never tried it. New ones are around €100 + VAT.

What happens if you push the lock button down manually?

the lock button on the drivers door? it just lock the rest of the doors and boot but not the passengers door

Is there not a manual button on top of the door card to push down to lock the passenger door?

no. none on any af the doors. only way to lock from the inside is the button on the drivers door

got it sorted. the wires had come off the door lock mech
