    Hi guys,

Would really appreciate if anybody could recommend a good surgery textbook. I already have surgery at a glance but was thinking that I should get something more comprehensive for final med.....(or if anyone thinks that would be enough?)

    Thanks!

I find essential surgery pretty good.

I also have the Oxford Handbook which attempts to cover the essentials of each surgery in 2 pages.

I have heard very good things about Surgery Recall although I haven't used it myself much yet as I don't do surgery until next year.

Last two are obviously review books and not the "comprehensive" textbooks which you are looking for.
The only text I could recommend in that regard is Burkitts.
